• Check the online user manual/instructions on how to use the unit/troubleshooting tips. Make and Model type may be found on the unit itself.

  • Check if a fuse has been tripped. Fuse box may be found inside a cupboard, on the wall or outside if you live in a house. If a fuse has been tripped turn appliance off before trying to turn fuse back on.

  • Check the power point which the appliance is plugged into is turned on and working (test using another appliance)

  • Check that you have power to other power points in the house.

AIR CONDITIONER: 

  1. Check that the switch outside at the motor is on.

  2. Change the batteries in the remote and check whether the timer function is not on or is preventing the unit from working.  

DRYER: 

  1. Check that the lint filter is cleaned. This can sometimes stop a dryer from working.


OVEN:

  1. Try turning on the oven timer. Some ovens require a timer to be turned on to work. 

  2. Check the oven setting is correct on the dial. 

  3. If grill is not working, try turning temperature onto the maximum setting. Some grillers require this to work.

  4. Please provide model number and serial number to your property manager when lodging maintenance.


DISHWASHER: 

  1. If dishwasher isn't draining properly or smells check that the filter has been cleaned and no food is causing a blockage.

  2. Please provide any error messages on the display to your property manager when lodging maintenance.
