Have you tried commercially available pest control products from the supermarket/hardware store?
PM check when a pest control was last completed as they generally have a 12 month warranty for many pest types (ants are not covered) and if it within 12 months and the type of pest is covered under warranty, issue a job to the pest controler who attended within this period to complete a WARRANTY SPRAY
