If the water coming from your hot tap is warm (not hot) or cold,
- Check that the fuse has not been tripped. Your use box may be located in the meter box (generally on an outside wall of the house), in a box on the wall inside the house.
- If the fuse is correctly positioned to on, check other taps to see if you have hot water coming from other taps. If you do, but have no hot water from a specifc tap, lodge a maintenance request noting the specific tap that has no hot water.
- If you have no hot water from any of your taps, you may have just used up all the available hot water and need to wait for it to reheat.
- Have we had a lot of cloudy weather? If so, is your booster on? If not, turn it on. If it is on and you still have no hot water, have you changed the way you are using your hot water? Times of day? Amount being used? In winter we all tend to use more hot water so you may just need to adjust the way you use it. (We can send someone out to check the system but if there is no fault found, the cost of the trade will be payable by the tenant).
- If your booster is on and there have been no changes to the way you are using your hot water, lodge an emergency maintenance request for no hot water.
