Before returning possession of the property, please ensure:
- The property is thoroughly cleaned and left in a similar condition to the start of the tenancy, allowing for fair wear and tear.
- All personal belongings and rubbish are removed.
- Lawns, gardens and outdoor areas are appropriately maintained.
- Any tenant-caused damage is addressed.
- All keys, remotes and access devices are returned to Robert James Realty.
- Any outstanding rent, water or other tenancy charges are paid.
Exit Condition Report – Your Responsibility
It is the tenant's responsibility to complete an Exit Condition Report (Form 14a) and provide a copy to Robert James Realty when the tenancy ends.
Your Entry Condition Report records the condition of the property at the beginning of your tenancy. You should use this as a reference when completing your Exit Condition Report.
Robert James Realty will then conduct its exit inspection and compare the property's condition against the entry and exit records, allowing for fair wear and tear.
